Weekly Yoga Therapy Class, Tuesdays
Every Tuesday, 5 pm to 6:30 pm (EST)
This class starts with a “healing circle” where you are invited to share, in a safe space, what is going on with you.
After the healing circle, you practice a unique style of yoga that’s available for everybody, whether you are young or in your 90’s. You are guided into yogic breathing and slow movement that help you become aware of your sensations and the way your body interacts with the world around you. It helps you reset your physical, mental and emotional rhythms to their natural state and to relax deeply.
The class ends with a closing “healing circle” where you share your self-awareness.
The authentic sharing of who you are with others, the physical self-awareness, and Elisabeth’s work as the group facilitator, all of these make this class a unique holistic wellness voyage where you come out onto the other side with more clarity, wholeness and aliveness.
Practiced regularly, this yoga therapy is a path to a deeper sense of wellbeing.
Classes are via Zoom. To participate, you need:
– to be in a quiet space
– to be dressed in comfortable clothes especially at the waist
– preferably, to avoid eating at least 2 hours before the session
– a mat or a chair (the practice can be done on either)
– an internet connection
– a microphone
– a webcam (recommended).
For each class, please pre-register on the day of the class by noon at the latest.
No drop in. Once you make the payment, look for a follow email with a link to our virtual class.
You may early cancel a booked class at least 24 hours before class start time without a penalty. Class cancellations can be submitted via email (email@example.com) or by texting (404-226-2195).
