I am a certified yoga therapist and a double cancer survivor based in Atlanta, GA. Because of my life experience, I have designed a healing modality that uses both yoga and active listening.

As a yoga therapist, my goal is to help you reclaim your body, listen to its messages and feel what is really going on with you–so that you can take the next step towards deepened wellness whenever you are ready. To help you in this journey, I draw from my experience as a human, a cancer survivor, a listener, a lover of emotions, movement and yoga and as a strong believer of the deep connection between body and mind.

I work the same way in private sessions, small group classes and workshops (in-person and online). All my classes offer a time to share your inner reality, acknowledge and name what has happened to you, what you are sensing and feeling, and a time to practice a unique style of yoga that helps you connect with and inhabit your body, to check in with the tensions, to feel what they are saying about your story. The end goal of this healing journey is to help you live with more satisfaction in your body, your emotions, your relationships and your life goals.

I am an IAYT-Certified (C-IAYT) Yoga Therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists, and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 500) with Yoga Alliance. The yoga therapy components of my teaching are based on my IAYT certification, not derived from my status as an RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance Registry.
