I am a certified yoga therapist based in Atlanta, GA. I am also a double cancer survivor.
My purpose is to help you deepen your wellness journey.
Because of my life experience, I have designed a healing modality that uses both yoga and verbal therapy to help you in this journey.
I believe that, to live with more satisfaction with our body, our emotions, our relationships and our life goals, we need to reclaim our body, listen to its messages, feel what is really going on with us as well as speak our truth.
This is why I work the way I do. All my classes–whether private sessions, small group classes and workshops–offer the same “protocol”. Each class starts with a time to share your inner reality, to name what is truly going on with you and is followed by a unique style of yoga that helps you connect and inhabit your body.
This way, you bridge the distance between yourself and the body, you make sure that you know what you feel so that you live in congruence with yourself, with who you truly are, all for more wellness.
“This is exactly the kind of self-care I’ve needed!” — Diana M.
“Elisabeth’s classes have contributed significantly to my healing journey.” — Kristin J.
“Elisabeth is highly intuitive and knowledgeable about the mind/body connection” — Helen L.
I am an IAYT-Certified (C-IAYT) Yoga Therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists, and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 500) with Yoga Alliance. The yoga therapy components of my teaching are based on my IAYT certification, not derived from my status as an RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance Registry.
